Connect LLMs, agents, and developer tools to authoritative messaging standards via MCP

Understand message rules, compare revisions and investigate errors with the tools you already use.

Get started

Create a free account and generate an access token to get started. Usage is included within fair-use limits.

Put your standards to work

Understand message rules

Explore message structures and how they vary by use or scenario. Ask what a tag means, which fields are required, when conditional rules apply and what values are allowed. Your AI tools can consult normative and non-normative documentation from the relevant repository and use it to answer questions and help generate example messages.

Compare revisions and dialects

See what changed between revisions or how a venue or broker’s dialect differs from the base protocol. Compare definitions from specific revisions to understand the differences relevant to you.

Investigate errors

Check FIX TagValue messages against a standard or dialect to identify issues such as missing or deprecated fields, invalid values, and incorrect checksums. Your AI tools can use the results and repository definitions to help explain the issues and suggest corrections.

Work with your own standards

Use the same tools to explore and investigate your own standards and dialects alongside published standards. Your access token gives your AI tools read access to the private repositories available to you.

Get connected

Connect your AI tools in a few steps, with nothing to install.

  1. Create an access token

Create a free account and generate an access token.

  2. Connect your tools

Add Orchimate MCP to a compatible AI or developer tool. You’ll find setup instructions in your account settings, alongside your token.

  3. Start exploring

Your token gives your tools read access to the public and private repositories available to you. Ask questions, compare revisions or investigate errors within your existing workflow.

How it works

Orchimate MCP is a remote, read-only MCP server that provides access to Orchestra repositories. It exposes tools for discovering repositories, retrieving their contents, and validating messages.

Security and access control

Your AI tool authenticates with the MCP server using an access token generated in your Orchimate account. Requests are authorized against your account’s permissions, providing read-only access to public repositories and any private repositories available to you.

Locally opened repositories are not available through MCP.

Repositories and revisions

List accessible repositories and retrieve their details and revision histories. Requests can target a specific revision; if none is specified, the current revision is used.

Definitions and documentation

Find and retrieve repository elements including messages, components, groups, fields, code sets and data types. Discover where elements are used and access repository documentation.

Message parsing and validation

Parse FIX TagValue messages against a repository and revision. Results identify fields and values and report issues found against the selected definitions. Check the same message against another repository or revision to assess compatibility.

FIX TagValue is currently supported, with other encoding formats to follow.
